“Our motto is to: “Make a Joyful Sound to the Lord.”!”
At Saint Lawrence, this motto reflects the heart of our Music Ministry. We believe in the power of music to elevate worship and create a joyful, prayerful atmosphere for our parish community. As St. Augustine beautifully said, “To sing is to pray twice.” Through song, we unite our voices in praise, deepen our prayer, and help lead the congregation into a meaningful encounter with God. Our Music Ministry offers a variety of choirs that welcome singers and musicians of all ages and experience levels. Whether you have years of musical experience or simply a desire to serve through music, there is a place for you here. Together, we strive to support the liturgy, inspire participation, and help our community truly make a joyful sound to the Lord.
