High School Confirmation 
(9th-12th Grade)

(UPDATE) AS OF AUGUST 2026, ST. LAWRENCE WILL BE TRANSITIONING TO A ONE YEAR HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION PREPARATION PROGRAM WITH A NEW SESSION TIME. ALL NEW CANDIDATES WILL JOIN THE "NEW CANDIDATES" CONFIRMATION PROGRAM. PREVIOUS CANDIDATES WHO ENROLLED IN 2025 WILL JOIN THE "YEAR 2" PROGRAM.

"New Candidates" HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION PREPARATION
(9th to 12th Grade)

      As of August 2026, St. Lawrence will be transitioning to a ONE YEAR High School Preparation Program. All new candidates will join the “New Candidates” Confirmation Program. 

       All New Candidates are required to attend TWO instructional sessions per month typically held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month (September to April) from 2:00PM-4:30PM IN ADDITION TO weekly Mass attendance. Group Service projects will be scheduled throughout the year. There will be a mandatory overnight Confirmation Weekend Retreat scheduled on February 19th-21st, 2027 at an off-site location.

• Parents and Candidates MUST attend a Mandatory "New Candidates" Confirmation Orientation on Sunday, September  13th, 2026 from 2:00PM-4:30PM. Location will be emailed. 
• Program Cost:  $350 (This includes the Weekend Confirmation Retreat fee which covers 2 nights accommodations at a retreat center, 6 meals, and bus transportation.)
• A copy of your teen's Baptism and First Communion Certificate must be submitted by email  to [email protected] or at the St. Lawrence Parish Office by the Parent and Candidate Orientation on September 13th.
• A sponsor eligibility form will be given at the Parent & Candidate Orientation and must be submitted by November.

• Year 2 Candidates AND Parents are required to attend the first session/"Year 2 Orientation" of their second year on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 2:00PM-4:30PM. Meeting location will be emailed. 
• Program Cost:  Year 2- $175 (in addition to any unpaid balances from the previous 2025-2026  year. The total cost for both years combined is $350 which includes the Weekend Confirmation Retreat fee that covers 2 nights accommodations at a retreat center, 6 meals, and bus transportation.)
• If you have not already done so, a copy of your teen's Baptism and First Communion Certificates must be submitted by email to [email protected] or at the St. Lawrence Parish Office.
• Sponsor forms are due as soon possible.

ADULT CONFIRMATION PREPARATION (AND/OR FIRST COMMUNION PREP)

(Adults 18 years old and beyond)

For baptized adults who wish to prepare for the Sacrament of First Communion AND/OR Confirmation. Must have interview with an Adult Confirmation Coordinator or Catechetical Director. 

FALL START 2026 (ENGLISH OR SPANISH)- First Communion AND/OR Confirmation Preparation. Meets 2 weekday evenings per month from November 2026-May 2027. English Sessions will be hybrid with most sessions held LIVE on ZOOM and 2 sessions in-person. Spanish Sessions will be IN PERSON. Schedule TBD. Program Expense Fee $75. Must complete Adult Interest Form and schedule an interview with Catechetical Director. A copy of Baptism Certificate is required.
