FIRST COMMUNION (1st to 8th Graders)

SUNDAY SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION (First Communion Preparation)
(1st-8th Grade)
Our parish has transitioned to a TWO YEAR preparation for baptized children in elementary and middle school who wish to receive First Eucharist/First Reconciliation.

This 2026-2027 year, all new students must enroll in “YEAR 1 First Communion Prep.”

Those eligible for YEAR 2 who have already completed at least one year of Catechetical formation through the St. Lawrence Sunday School or Sunday Sacramental Prep will be contacted by the Catechetical Director and will be invited to register for the YEAR 2 program.

A COPY of child’s baptismal certificate must be submitted no later than the first day of class.

- Begins Sunday, September 13th, 2026
- $140 divided into two payments: $70 Registration Fee for Year 1 and $70 Registration Fee for Year 2
- Please plan to attend the 10:00 AM Mass in English or 12:30 PM Mass in Spanish

FIRST COMMUNION (High School Teens)
HIGH SCHOOL FIRST COMMUNION/CONFIRMATION (9th-12th Grade)
Baptized High School students who have not yet received First Eucharist will concurrently be prepared for both First Eucharist and Confirmation.
- Must enroll in "High School Confirmation".
- See High School Confirmation for program details.
- Candidates preparing for First Communion will have a few extra sessions in addition to the Confirmation session calendar.
To secure registration placement, parents and candidates NEW to the program must attend a "YEAR 1" orientation on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 4:00PM-7:00PM (including 6:00PM Bilingual Sunday Mass).

Orientation location will be emailed to families.
- Program Expense Fee is $350 divided into two payments:
  - Year 1- $175.00
  - Year 2- $175.00
- If you prefer to make payment in smaller increments, a $40 deposit towards the Confirmation Program Expense Fees is due by orientation to secure registration.
- A copy of teen's baptism certificate.

FIRST COMMUNION / CONFIRMATION (Adults)
For baptized adults who wish to prepare for the Sacrament of First Communion AND/OR Confirmation. Must have interview with an Adult Confirmation Coordinator or Catechetical Director.
Option 1: SUMMER START 2026 (ENGLISH ONLY) - First Communion AND/OR Confirmation Preparation- Meets 3 Tuesday evenings per month from 7pm-8:30pm LIVE ZOOM evenings from July 2026-September 2026. Program Expense Fee $75. Must complete Adult Interest Form and schedule an interview with Catechetical Director. Begins Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. A copy of Baptism Certificate is required.

Option 2: FALL START 2026 (ENGLISH OR SPANISH)- First Communion AND/OR Confirmation Preparation. Meets 2 weekday evenings per month from November 2026-May 2027. English Sessions will be hybrid with most sessions held LIVE on ZOOM and 2 sessions in-person. Spanish Sessions will be IN PERSON. Schedule TBD. Program Expense Fee $75. Must complete Adult Interest Form and schedule an interview with Catechetical Director. A copy of Baptism Certificate is required.
